Summer Reading 11th grade gifted—Godshall, Meaux

Choose two books to read from the fiction or nonfiction list and read the required books, which are The Crucible by A. Miller and Outliers by M. Gladwell (4 books total). Watch your ACT/SAT/PSAT scores grow as your reading increases.

If you would like to take the test(s) for summer reading during the summer, check with the LHS Office for details.

Here is a list of books suggested by colleges and universities across the U.S. Standardized tests and AP tests will use vocabulary from these novels; therefore, it is highly recommended that you read as many of these books as you can. I hope that a love of reading can come from a wide selection such as this. You will have a great amount of reading in college, and the more you read, the better speed and comprehension you will acquire.

We will have a reading assessment when you return to school in the Fall.

Required reading: The Crucible-Arthur Miller-we will begin with this drama
